Strathblane Parish Church Accounts 2025

Situated at the foot of the beautiful Campsie Fells in the Blane Valley, and on the edge of Loch Lomond National Park, Killearn Kirk and Strathblane Parish Church offer a unique and attractive setting for ministry. These two welcoming congregations, located just five miles apart, are in a linked charge formed on 21st March 2024. Drawing their strength from the love of Christ and a deep care for their communities, both churches are vibrant, supportive, and rooted in faith.
The Presbytery of Perth has granted permission to call a Minister on a seven-year reviewable tenure, and we are now seeking someone to lead and inspire us in this next chapter.
We are seeking to appoint a Minister who will preach and proclaim the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, and who values and embraces both traditional and contemporary styles of worship.

We pray that our new Minister can:

• Help us grow as churches, both spiritually and numerically, where everyone is welcomed and valued.

• Equip and inspire disciples at all stages of their walk with God in the use of their gifts for his purpose while helping us to develop our faith, worship, pastoral care, and mission.

• Be a good communicator and a caring pastoral leader who engages with the whole community, taking Christ’s mission into the parishes.

• Support us as we continue to be a caring church providing a happy and a safe environment, serving the whole community.

If you feel called to serve in a charge where faith, community and mission come together, we will warmly welcome your application.

Please apply or make an enquiry, in confidence, to the Clerk of the Nominating Committee, Teresa Prescott : Killearn.strathblane@gmail.com

Applications should include your CV, a personal statement including your reasons for applying, the names of two referees (they will only be contacted if your application is being taken further) and links to any online church services that you may have conducted.
